Nord Security – a global leader in online privacy and security – started a series of online events focusing on technology and cybersecurity. Intended to raise awareness of the importance of cybersecurity in today’s world, the events will take place every few months and include our very own NordPass speakers. The very first event took place on October 27, covering API testing principles as well as PHP and GO languages. Today, we’ll recap the first event and look at what the Go Tech events bring to the table and why you shouldn't miss them.

Go Tech with Nord Security: what it is and why you shouldn’t miss it
Nord Security comprises a variety of tools for personal and corporate cybersecurity. The list includes NordVPN, the world’s leading VPN service; NordPass, a password manager for individuals and businesses; and NordLocker, encrypted file storage for companies and individuals. Over the years, Nord Security has amassed a lot of experience and expertise in the cybersecurity field, and now is the time to make it known. These online events aim to share that knowledge with the outside world and educate businesses as well as individuals on a variety of cybersecurity topics.
The events will take place every few months and cover a variety of topics and formats:

Recap of the first event
The very first event, which took place on October 27, focused on a few major topics: API testing principles and PHP and GO languages. Oleh Ismailov, Senior PHP developer @ NordPass, and Edvinas Tamošiūnas, Backend Technical Lead @ NordPass, took center stage at the opening event.
Oleh covered the API testing principles specific to NordPass and discussed why those principles are crucial for the product’s success. Edvinas, as a veteran PHP programmer, took it upon himself to shed some light on the differences and similarities between PHP and GO and how the two languages are used at NordPass. The event wrapped up with a Q&A session.
