Our services, software and website (“Services”) are provided by us (“we”, “our” or “NordPass”) with a goal to ensure a secure and effortless digital experience, and we as a team work hard towards this goal. Security, convenience, and truthfulness are the core values that we apply in everything we do.
We at NordPass are committed to respect your privacy and protect the personal information you share with us and that we collect about you.
Information we collect
Information you provide
Email address. We process your email address in several occasions:
- If you sign up to our news via ‘About us’ page or an early access waitlist, your email address will be used to send you news, latest announcements and information regarding related cybersecurity products. In addition, if you subscribe to our waitlist, we will contact you when NordPass is ready for use and you will get the right to access our service early.
- If you send us any questions or feedback via email, we’ll process your email address in order to reply to your inquiry. If you provide us with your feedback (via email, social media or other channels), we may use your feedback in our or our partner marketing materials.
Data collected from you about others. The Services let you invite others to sign up to the early access waitlist. If you invite your friends or relatives to join the waitlist, NordPass will only store the invitee’s email address if the invitee signs up to the waitlist.
Other Data. We may also collect other types of information in the manner disclosed by us at the time such information is collected.
Data collected on our website
Access logs. Like many websites on the internet our website collects access logs (e.g. your IP address, operating system, browser information). We use this information to help us to better design our site, to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer our website. We have a legitimate interest in understanding how users and visitors interact with our website.
Social media platforms and widgets. Our website may include social media features, such as the Facebook Like button, to help you share our content easier. These features may collect information about your IP address and which page you are visiting on our website, and they may set a cookie to make sure the feature functions properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our website.
Cookies. Cookies, pixels and other similar technologies are usually small text or image files that are placed on your device when visiting our website. Some cookies are temporary and are erased when you close your browser at the end of your surfing session and some are persistent, meaning that they remain on your hard drive until you erase them or they expire. You can check what cookies we use in the detailed cookie table we included at the end of this Policy.
Do Not Track. Some browsers have incorporated a “do-not-track” feature that can send a signal to the websites you visit indicating you do not wish to be tracked. Currently, our systems do not recognize browser “do-not-track” requests.
We have following third party service providers: an email automation service provider, website analytics service providers, providers for website customization, data storage providers and others that help us enhance our Services. Our service providers have access to personal information only as needed to perform their functions and they must process the personal information in accordance with this Policy.
Third party tools. We may use various third party tools, such as Iterable, to store the mailing lists, send communications to you or confirm your sign up to news subscriptions or waitlists. We select those tools very carefully making sure they do not compromise your security and privacy. However, these tools may collect information about you, such as IP address, location, device information and track the actions such as unsubscribe or email forward. This information is used to optimize our email campaigns.
We take data security very seriously at NordPass and take all steps reasonably necessary to secure your data (weather technical, physical, or administrative). However, no company can guarantee the absolute security of Internet communications. By using the Services, you expressly acknowledge that we cannot guarantee the security of any data provided to or received by us through the Services and that any information received from you through the website or our Services is provided at your own responsibility. If you have any questions about how we secure your information, contact us.
