New Features: Save Personal Info on Your Computer with NordPass

2020-07-17 - 3 min read

Forget typing your personal information such as your name, phone number, or address when shopping online or filling in registration forms. Copy-paste is much quicker and easier. So say hello to Personal Info — our new feature that allows you to save your personal details once and use them whenever you need them again.

How to add personal information

  1. Open the NordPass app. Select Personal Info from the left-hand side menu panel and click Add personal info.

  2. Give your Personal Info a Title, like ‘Home’ or ‘Work address’. Enter your details, such as name, email address, phone number, and home address. Click Save.

  3. That’s it! You can now find the saved information under the Personal Info tab. Next time you shop online or fill in registration forms, you can simply copy this information.

How to save time with other NordPass features

There are plenty of other NordPass features that can improve your browsing and password management experience. Here are just a few:

  • Autosave. When you log in to a new website you haven’t saved on NordPass yet, it will prompt you to remember your login credentials. One click and it’s done.

  • Autofill. NordPass recognizes your favorite websites and offers to fill in your login credentials for you. All it takes is a single click.

  • OCR scanner helps you scan important notes or credit card details for future use. It uses your phone camera to identify an object or image, recognizes text or numbers, and helps you save the data in NordPass.

  • Secure notes. With NordPass, you can store more than just login credentials. Keep secure notes, such as your Wi-Fi password or your business partner's contact details, in Secure Notes. Access them on desktop and mobile devices, as well as in the NordPass browser extension.

  • Biometric authentication. You can log in to the NordPass mobile apps with the most unique password you have — your biometric data. Use your fingerprint or scan your face to unlock your vault. No need to manually enter your Master Password.
